*Stops working to check OS and see what Matrix had to say*

There is a difference between people implying that player x would never play for a random team, but Steve literally said a few weeks ago that he wouldn't do it.

So yes, when a man outright lies to people, I tend to give him less respect. I'm glad you don't care, 24th, but lies are lies. Doesn't matter if it's sports or saving people's lives, liars always lose respect in the end.

Uhh.. you don't see that Nash basically went against whatever he said. Said he respected the Lakers as competition and wants to beat them.

If you can't beat 'em though.. join 'em?

With that said, I don't lose any respect for Nash for what he did. Dude is a free agent and wants to play in LA. So be it. So he had a change of heart.. more power to him.

When did he say he would never play for the Lakers?

He said he doesn't like stuff like that but he's keeping all of his options open.

                    Uh, ok.

While no, i'm not losing sleep over Steve Nash, or any other athletes decisions, I think you and ex misunderstood me. What I was saying is that basically, from Steve Nashs view, all that stuff went out of the window when he decided to make his decision...ala, not giving a ****

I wasn't even trying to get into the "why should we care" bit

                      He said it'd be hard.

It literally took him two days to throw away years of history. Two days and a call from Kobe Bryant.

Clearly hard. Especially by the fact that his agent, publicist and everyone else from his camp is basically praising Nash for being such a great man by doing this.

What would celebrating America's birthday be without a Benedict Arnold reenactment? Then again, he is Canadian. Perhaps we should have seen this coming.
