Also I don't want Tolliver here. He's responsible for Derrick's injury when he fell on his leg early in the season.

He's also probably responsible for Rubio's injury... the bastard.

True... they also flirted with the youth movement for a while that kept him on the bench when he could've been playing.

Houston has decided to use the amnesty provision on Luis Scola and will likely file with NBA on Friday, league sources tell Y! Sports.

Even if they don't get Howard, I think it's a good move to get there new guys like Jones and White some PT

I heard rockets fans talking about it but why amnesty him?

The guy isnt the reason they created the amnesty clause

They need the cap space to bring in Howard plus bad Magic contracts, and the only other player on the Rockets who had a big contract was K-Mart, but he's expiring and he would fit better with a Howard led offense IMO.

I agree that Scola is undeserving of this though

I'd love to see New Orleans grab him.

I have a feeling every team under the cap will be bidding on him. No way he gets through.

Houston would have roughly $30M or so in payroll if they amnesty Scola and lose out on Asik. Roughly 40% of that is Kevin Martin.

David Aldridge: Source says "multiple factors" will be at work in Rockets' decision. Obviously looking to see if there's a way to do DH12 deal another way. now

The Mavericks will be aggressive bidders for Scola on the amnesty wire, league sources said. Dallas is serious about Elton Brand too.
