So, now the Bulls rotation is....

    Hinrich/Teague/???
    Hamilton/???
    Deng/Butler
    Boozer/Gibson/(last season's pick)
    Noah/Asik (maybe)

Yeah, that's a great defensive rotation. They will really be lacking on the offensive end. Don't they still have the Mini-MLE since they're going to sign-and-trade for Kirk?

They could use another young swingman that can create his own shot or score off the dribble, otherwise I like their team's makeup. Brandon Roy or Nick Young would have been perfect, but I know that was stated earlier in the thread. Still should be a few solid shooting guards available, I think?

Yes! hopefully it's for Hinrich so we keep our MMLE.

If not then were probably getting there TPE

Mirotic isn't coming over. So it'll probably be Scal or Tollier as the 3rd PF.

The 3rd PG will probably be either John Lucas or Patrick Beverley.

And the backup SG will probably be someone we acquire with the MMLE like Michael Redd.

I wouldn't be surprised if we enter the season with:

        Hinrich/Teague/Beverley/Rose(out)
        Hamilton/Redd/Hinrich(here once rose is healthy)
        Deng/Butler
        Boozer/Taj/Scal or Tolliver
        Noah/Asik or backup C
        Chicago Bulls
        Chicago Bears
        Wisconsin Badgers

          David Aldridge ‏@daldridgetnt
Source says that Jeremy Lin has officially signed three-year, $25.1M offer sheet with the Rockets. Knicks will have three days to match.
          David Aldridge ‏@daldridgetnt
Lin will get $5M in year one, $5.225M in year two and $14.898M in year three. Rockets hoped that will discourage NY, but Knicks will match.
I don't remember this being the initial offer. I thought it was 4 years with the 4th year being a Team Option.

          Rockets just trolled the Knicks.

We still have to match though. But damn.

That third year is just ewwww. Somehow Asik will be making more than Lin in that same year as well btw. Double ewwwww.

The Bulls get Minnesota's 2nd round pick in the Korver to ATL deal, not Hinrich.

My guess is next move is Redd for vet minimum.

Usually front loaded contracts scare teams off...but the Rox just got him paid

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (All Transactions 1st Page)

Well the Rockets are screwing with us. Now we wait until the last possible minute to match so that the contract screws up their cap situation and they can't get Dwight.

                  Edit: On Cue

                  Marc Stein

Word in exec circles is circulating already that Knicks, especially given terms of J-Lin's new deal, will take full three days to match
Edit #2: Looks like it was Lin's doing

                  Ian O'Connor

As we reported last week, Jeremy Lin pushed for more money than Houston originally offered. Now gets higher annual wage

KC is saying both Asik and Lin will be making $14,898,000 in 2014-15.

That should give us some TPE to work with.

Reading around on the Lin contract and I've read that we won't be able to ship him as an expiring in his 3rd year, only the Rockets can do that? Is that right?

Houston, you guys want to offer sheet JaVale McGee too? It'll only cost him north of 50M!
