Lin and his agent over played their hand plane and simple. I am sure they thought that the had NY over a barrel and that they would match any offer, but I am glad NY was not stupid enough to sign someone who decided that at 85 percent he was not willing to suit up in the playoffs, that just showed he had no heart and was only after a big pay day. Bottom line he is not worth the 40-50 million it might have cost the Knicks in that third year.

I dont know why this doesnt get mentioned more, if that was any other popular player like Melo for example they would be ripped to shreds. And people were wondering why certain teamattes were commenting on his contract situation.

LOL at Jason Kidd in this whole situation. First he says he wants to go wherever D-Will goes, he goes to the Nets, but the Nets use the MLE on some dude from Europe so Kidd can't go there anymore unless he wants to take vet minimum, which he doesn't. So it looks like he'll be back in Dallas, BUT WAIT, he wants to go play in New York and mentor Jeremy Lin. Then he goes and gets his *** arrested for being a moron and now Lin isn't even going to be a Knick.

Have fun mentoring Fatass Felton J-Kidd!

Anyway, they were 8-15 when he came in and they were without Melo, Amar'e, Shumpert and Baron Davis. He kept them afloat until those guys came back.

Not like Lin was playing with a all-world team when that whole Linsanity stuff happened.

In other news, Denver officially amnesties Chris Anderson and sign Anthony Randolph for 3 years, 6 million.

at how he could take such peanut money.. Lakers could have used him
I still think A Randolph can prove his worth in this league....being under Karl will do him some good...

The NBA - where an exciting two-week stretch of basketball can get you a 25 million dollar contract.
