I already hate them for getting Nash for cheaper than he was offered elsewhere and landing Jamison for vet minimum. Even without Howard, they still greatly improved.

C'mon on now. There's no need to put on a front for us my man LOL. That mentality you have is something that Net Fans should always have, not Laker Fans.

You know deep down inside you're like, "Yup, yup yup. Looks like my boys are going to continue the trend of getting our dominant Centers that we always seem to get. Life as a Laker fan is good. "

And may I mention Steve Nash...

Either way I can't hate on LA but I am jealous of their FO powers.

I wish. This has been going on for a long long time, going to wait for something official before buying into the hype. I'll be thrilled if and when, but till then just more smoke

I wonder if this means anything:
            Patrick Beverley ‏@patbev21
Looks like I won't be returning to play for Spartak next season!!!! Thanks for everything!!!!
My guess is Bulls next moves are letting Asik walk, signing Darko, signing Michael Redd, and signing Pat Beverley.
            Chicago Bulls
            Chicago Bears
            Wisconsin Badgers

But see, you're allowed to buy into the hype because you're a Laker Fan and you KNOW it's going to happen...because you're the Lakers LOL.

See, me being a Nets Fan I have no other choice to wait til something becomes official before I can buy the hype. It's like going to the Mall and being first in line for the new Jordans, you get your size, walk up to the Register, pull out your Credit Card and hand it to the Cashier and when she swipes it, you get the message "Insufficient Funds". Ya'll Laker Fans don't have that problem because ya'll can just say "Oh, put that on my tab".

Houston has a better asset set than Cleveland if Houston wants to gamble on Dwight, and Orlando doesn't have to move Dwight until the trade deadline, so its far from over. Feels like Orlando doesn't want to swap centers mainly with the risk of Bynum walking away from that terrible roster since he would only be minimally invested having 1 year there. Yes Orlando would have Bird rights to guarantee more money, but its a dice roll.

Smoke till it goes down. Feels like a power play to push Houston. A week ago Dwight said nothing about LA and everyone was on "well not everyone wants to be a Laker", he's apparently changed stances at this point, would he eventually do the same for Houston / others? Crap shoot.

See this is why I hate whenever people go "The Lakers are finished!" yeah no. The Lakers always find a way to be right back in the mix which I respect. Basically the other 29 teams are the ones who get dumped by their girlfriends in high school and lock themselves in a room, the Lakers? They get dumped and then pick up a supermodel. It happens every ****ing time like clockwork.

You would turn Kobe away if he tried to pull you out of a burning building.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Did anyone hear basically Dwight Howard's "last straw" with the Orlando Magic? The moment he knew he wanted out.

The reporter from RealGM said when Dwight was scheduled to have his back surgery in LA...they gave Dwight 2 first class tickets (one for Dwight and one for the Magic team doctor) on AirTran.

Dwight was pissed that it was AirTran and he didn't get a private jet with his favorite snacks. Supposedly Macadamia nuts.

And I'm not making this story up.
