I have to say I have nothing but respect for the Lakers organization. They get a big man & begin showing him other great Laker big men and he says he can't wait to stay for years to come.
It is no fluke that they are retiring Shaq's jersey number and building Jabbar's statue when Dwight finally comes to LA. Great move by the Lakers. The Buzz is Back in the Queen City. Cho........I have no idea what you are going to do in this draft man.Comment

And if you're considered the best center (or anything really) in the NBA, I'd think you would already know the history of great big men the Lakers have had. This isn't Tannenhill not knowing what division the Dolphins are in. Every casual basketball fan should at least know Shaq, Jabbar and Wilt.
The big story here is that Kareem would actually do something to benefit the organization.Comment

This Greg Somogyi kid has a 7'9 wingspan and he's 7'3, been signed by the Lakers for training camp. If he were to actually make the team or any other team he would become the current record holder for the largest wingspan in the League.
He stunk it up in the Summer League, but I think with the right vets in his ear he can become something great.death to mollyComment

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (All Transactions 1st Page)
And this is what gets me. I have friends who are Nets fans who are trying to convince me that this is a good signing.
I swear..the day after the Nets moved they could do no wrong. Maxing out Lopez, $12M/yr for Hump..trading for JJ.
It is so annoying.Comment
