On Harden- I've said here he's good, I've said I think he should start, I said he was better than Sef. I said he was my favorite player on the Thunder team..I said back in another thread when they were in the WCF that I wasn't worried about the Thunder (I'm a Heat fan) I said the only player who scares me is Harden.. I said if they can stop him they can win the series, he's there X factor (which was dead on) I said potential wise he would definitely be in the top 5 list for me, he's young, he can score, he'll no doubt have a great career.. But for now, judging off the past 2 seasons I would go with the 5 I originally said:
    1. Kobe
    2.Wade
    3.Johnson
    4.Gordon
    5Ginobili
    ....and then...
    6. Monta
    7. T Evans
    8. Harden..

That's my SG list. I just don't see where you guys get that he's THAT good at this point in his career. No question he will be soon enough, but I remember last year Lamar Odom putting ever very similar numbers to Hardens coming off the bench as well and nobody wanted to label him a top 5 SF in the league..

And I still stand by my point that if he really was THAT much better than Sef he would be starting. Especially late in the playoffs/finals when you can't afford not to have your best 5 on the court 90% of the time..

Keep in mind it's easier to put up numbers when a lot of the time you're in the game you are also playing against the other teams reserve..

I would probably take Harden over Evans right now. I feel like Evans can be a top 3 sg in this league but he has regressed every year. Toss in Kevin Martin at the bottom of that list an that's basically all the sgs worth a damn in the NBA. Pretty small list.

Yeah Martin was actually my 9th spot, I just decided not to add anything after Harden.. I only have Evans there because I know when he is at his level he would be much higher.. Same reason I had Rose bumped down a couple spots earlier on my PG list due to last seasons injures

Are you guys grading point guards based on point guard abilities or based on their overall value? Rondo has way better point guard abilities than westbrook. But 8 times out of 10 i'd want westbrook on my team over rondo.

              I wouldn't even say that.

Westbrook's basketball IQ is lacking. Regardless of his explosive scoring, I'd prefer to have a guy that takes care of the ball and makes the rest of the team better, rather than actually render them irrelevant.

Moving westbrook to the 2 fixes that. I'd rather have him at the 2 than a pg who is only effective with 3-4 shooters on the court.

I somewhat agree.. I made my list based on who I thought was just the flat out best all around players at each spot.. If I was going on skills as just a PG and how a PG should play I would go something like - 1.Nash 2. T Parker 3. Rondo 4. Deron 5. CP3.. You could switch up the spots a little for you're own preference but I think it's those 5..

Watch for Kyrie to be in the mix very soon, dudes gonna be a monster!

Does he really make the rest of the team irrelevent? Durant's led the league in scoring how many years in a row now? Westbrook is absolutely aggressive with his shot selection, but outside of himself, Durant, and Harden, who on that team is going to score without Westbrook/Harden creating for them?

Good thing Rondo doesn't need shooters on the court to be effective.

If people are gonna rank players then what's the point of having a tie? Also Ray Allen doesn't belong on a top 5 sg list.

Oh an not having Deron Williams arguably the top pg in the league on your list is just silly to me. Unless you just forgot about him since he plays for the nets.
