I'd like to play the role of Portland GM. Now obviously I'd like to get rid of some of these guys, but I'm not giving them away. I want fairly equal compensation or at least some draft picks. So, if your team is interested, post your ideas.

Not high on Ilgauskus. Ankle history and kinda slow. Wells I am looking to move, but Randolph and Patterson are not high on my list of guys I'm looking to get rid of. Also, in regards to Davis, I'm trying to get the troublemakers OUT of Portland.

To compete in the West, you need a legit big man. Period. Illguaskas has a full season and a half with no foot problems, hence the all-star appearance. Not as slow as you think. Much quicker than Sabonis was, and you were a MUCH better team with him. Can pull centers away because he's got 17 feet of range.

Cavs 2nd round pick will be valuable for at least two seasons.

I know a few people close to Ruben here in Cleveland. He WILL be a Cav eventually, bank on it. You can get something for him now, or watch him walk in a year or two and get nothing. Your choice.

    Bonzi/Davis is a wash...

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

When I get a mental image of Ilgauskus vs Shaq, I shudder. Also, I think once we clear some more room for Ruben to play, we'll have a decent chance to keep him here. Now, Wells, Rasheed, McInnis, Stoudamire ... these guys I am willing to move and ofcourse other guys are expendable as well.

I like the idea of a draft pick being involved.

Here is what I have in mind for Portland.

PG We need a vet of some sort to distribute first, shoot second
SG D. Anderson / Need a solid backup
    SF Patterson / Woods
PF Dale Davis/ Travis Outlaw - still would like to do better than Dvais at PF
C Randolph / Boumtje-Boumtje - I really like this center combo. Randolph I think can make the move.

So basically, I'm looking for a solid PF to replace or backup Davis and a veteran PG to start along with some bench depth in exchange for Stoudamire, McInnis, Wallace, and Wells.

OK, I'll add Ollie gimme Stoudamire instead of Randolph, but you gotta add your '05 #2 pick, and don't get mine.

it might work bcuz knicks will get to unload houstons talent and bring bak eddie griffin to new york area and houston will reconcile with van gundy in houston.. and houston has been looking for a pure shooter
