The Lakers have to deal with building chemistry and keeping their aging stars healthy. If either of these things DON'T happen the Thunder run through them. Durant will be on a mission this year. You'll see.

Yes. But the thunder are one of the few teams with the defensive presence down low to compete with dwight and pau

Absolutely. The Lakers now have an almost unstoppable offense with Nash and Dwight. PnR? Sure. Pick and Pop? Ok. Hi-Lo action with Pau and Dwight? Alright. Kobe Iso? I'll take that too.

Chemistry takes time. LeBron/Wade/Bosh didn't work immediately. Lets also not forget Kobe is older, Pau is older, and Nash is older. We also don't know how Dwight's back is going to hold up over a full season now. Can't crown a team champion based off paper.

Oh I know, wasn't crowning them, just saying OKC isn't the only team in the running in the West now. I feel it's really between LA, OKC, SA, and maybe the Clippers.

My general fear of the Lakers says yes. My realistic self honestly just looks at this Thunder team and says, teams are setting themselves up to get beaten. This Thunder team is getting better by the year and aren't going anywhere.

We do give the Thunder a run for their money though make no mistake about it - Oklahoma City are the #1 ranked team in the West. We are IMO #3 until we prove we're better than San Antonio.

The Thunder give the Lakers more than ANY team a bad match-up across the court.

With Mike Brown as the coach the Lakers will not make it past the Thunder.. IMO

Westbrook is going to eat Nash for lunch. Durant will destroy Artest. Plus Perk and Ibaka can slow down Pau and Howard

Sure, if Thunder settle for jumpers.

No way they'll score on those towers down low.

I could see Howard being in serious foul trouble in a Thunder series

I think the Lakers, Clippers, and Spurs can give the Thunder a run for their money. Pretty sure the Thunder are not unbeatable.

One of those "towers" is Pau Gasol, hardly a defensive stopper. And Dwight Howard isn't impervious to foul trouble.

Yeah the Lakers should have won another game or two in the series this past year...other than game 1 that series was not as big a rout as the 4-1 win makes it look like. With Nash, Howard, Jamison and Meeks off the bench the Lakers have a good chance of winning a 7 game series with OKC. The problem is Howard's injury might allow OKC to get home court which would hurt.
