    Good teams adding lots of talent!

    There may already be a thread like this somewhere if so feel free to lock it..

    But I just wanted to take note of some of the already good teams that seemed to add lots of talent to their rosters.. It seems like, to me anyways, that most teams league wide are improving, which is very good for the NBA since the past few years have been so top heavy talent wise... Anyways here are the teams who jump out at me the most, I'd like to hear all of your opinions as well..

    Sixers - though the lost their best player in Iggy they've added tons of instant offense from guys like Nick Young, J Rich, and Dorell Wright.. Also the addition of one of the best big men in Bynum and a promising rookie in Mo Harkless.. They're young, big, athletic, and they can get buckets...

    Bulls - already one of the best teams in the league they were able to keep all of their key pieces while adding help where they needed it most at back-up PG.. They added instant scoring from Nate Robinson and a solid all around game welcoming Kirk Hinrich back to the team.. They also added what should be a solid rookie in Teague also at the PG spot..

    Celtics - they were able to keep their main 3 Rondo, Pierce, Garnett, added even more offense with Courtney Lee and Jet Terry who also brings more veteran experience and has a ring of his own.. Avery Bradley returns from injury, Jeff Green back from injury as well, and 3 excellent draft picks in Kris Joseph, Jared Sullinger, and Fab Melo..

    Clippers - another playoff team who kept all of their important pieces.. Added instant offense from Jamal Crawford, veteran Grant Hill who played very well this past season.. Lamar Odom who pretty much does it all and has championship experience.. Caron Butler healthy and Billups to return mid-season?

    Heat - of course added Allen and Lewis, however still no sign of a big man so who knows

    Knicks - add Felton, Kidd, Brewer, & Camby.. Amar'e at 100% and possible breakout year from Shumpert.. Could be good, I was hoping they would have kept Lin and Fields though

    Lakers- obviously, adding Nash, Dwight, Jamison, Jodi Meeks, Steve Blake, and Chris Duhon.. We'll see how this works.. I'm still not convinced Kobe can play alongside a great PG or that Mike Brown can coach a championship team, but obviously the team has as much or more talent than any team in the league.. And Howard&Gasol should flourish with Nash running the show.. If he gets a chance to.

    Mavs- after their disappointing year last season they have added tons of pieces.. D Collison, OJ Mayo, Dahntay Jones, Elton Brand, Chris Kaman, rookie Jae Crowder, kept Dirk, Carter, Marion, West.. They have lots of talent to work with this season

    Nets - added Johnson, kept D Will, Wallace, Lopez, Humphries.. Rookie Taylor.. No doubt this team will be better, but I don't think they're at the level of the other teams mentioned so far..

    Nuggets - kept all the major pieces from last years playoff squad, added Iggy and Anthony Randolph, team is young, athletic, good at both ends, and has depth.

    Pacers - add DJ Augustin, G Green, and EVEN MORE size with Mahinmi, rookie Miles Plumlee, and Pendergraph.. This team was already dangerous last season and seem to be even better this year

    Thunder- kept all the big dogs from last year, added Perry Jones, and Thabeet for even MORE size and defense. I still pick them to beat LA, especially considering all of their stars from last year should be even better this year.. And they have so much size

    T-Wolves - not a good team last season like the rest of these teams but they still added what could be some major upgrades to their team.. Rubio back, added Brandon Roy, Kirilenko, Chase Budinger, Robbie Hummel, and help inside from Greg Stiemsma.. Depending on how much better Williams, Love, Rubio are and at what level Roy can play at will determine how good this team is..

    Re: the Bulls, I think they got worse overall before taking the Rose injury into account. Here's a summary of their offseason:

    Watson ---> Hinrich / Teague

    At the moment, this is a wash. I'm just worried that Hinrich's declining play since leaving Chicago a couple years ago will continue to worsen. Watson is younger, more athletic, better from beyond the arc (albeit more streaky), and started off great last year. Then he got hurt (sprained elbow, plantar fasciitis in both feet) but still had to play big minutes due to Rose's injuries. I wanted the Bulls to bring him back and thought he could really have a good year. Brooklyn got a great backup PG for the vet min. Teague looked pretty bad in Summer League so I'm not expecting much of an impact from him.

    Korver ---> Belinelli

    The Bulls lost an elite 3-pt shooter. Belinelli is a better ballhandler and more athletic, but that doesn't make up for the difference in 3-pt shooting. Also, Korver's defense last year was improved from past years. I'm not convinced that Belinelli will be able to stay on the floor playing for Thibs.

    Brewer ---> Butler

    Brewer's defense was great, but Butler has the potential to be a pretty good defender as well. Butler is already better offensively than Brewer, and still has room to grow. I think he can become a decent ballhandler and has already proven that he can draw fouls at a high rate. He just has to improve his jumpshot. Taking salaries into account, this was the Bulls' biggest upgrade of the offseason.

    Asik ---> Mohammed

    Pretty big downgrade here. Mohammed is solid as a backup C, but he can't protect the rim or rebound like Asik does.

    Lucas ---> Robinson

    Nate had a good season last year and is probably better running an offense than John Lucas, but that's not saying much. I like Robinson as a 3rd PG better than Lucas, so this was a pretty good move. Watching Nate run the 2nd team offense until Rose comes back will be rough though.

    Scalabrine ---> Radmanovic

    Biggest downgrade of the offseason.

    /sarcasm

    Overall, it doesn't really matter what the Bulls do until Rose comes back. That was the Bulls' thinking in making the moves they made this offseason. Once Rose is back on the court, I fully expect the Bulls to make a big splash in upgrading the roster.

      I like the moves the Bulls made.. I wouldn't be surprised to see a little Hinrich at the 1 and Rose at the 2 combo in a few sets once Rose returns.. Hinrich does everything you need a solid PG to do, that's what the Bulls need in a reserve PG role
