    Denver Nuggets

To think that last year, as a 2k3 fan I started using the Nuggets in an effort to make games more challenging. I learned all their strengths and weaknesses, and always had a great time using their different weapons.I enjoyed playing as them so much they eeked past my 3-year strong "favourite" the Pistons as my #1 favourite team.

I enjoyed following the team online, although watching games was very difficult since I'm up in Calgary, and while Denver might be one of the closest geographically, I was lucky to see ANYTHING that didn't have Raptors/Wizards/Lakers/Insert other teams. On cable I'm unable to get the League Pass, so I'm stuck for now unless I choose to switch to Satellite.

And here they are, second in the league last I checked, and after the Lakers so its certainly understandable. I hope they keep going strong. I'm able to see more games this year due to Carmelo Anthony, although he's certainly not my favourite player on the team (Nothing against him, he's great!).

On an interesting note, if Tskitishvili/Yarbrough was as good an NBA player as he was a 2k3 player, they might be even better off.

Yeah I've been following them lately too. They did have almost a total overhaul this offseason and it payed off. Still, I wouldn't have placed them even near any playoff spots but now it seems like they have a shot.

The Nuggets have definitely surprised a lot of people. They work hard and work as a team. They all know their roles and their coach gets them ready for every game. I'm happy for them.

Oh, and they are tied for third in the west (record wise) with the Mavs behind the Lakers and the Kings. If the playoffs started today tho, they would be the number 2 seed. I think they are 6th overall in the league, tied with Dallas.

(top 10 record wise as of 12-8-03)
          1. Lakers (.850)
          2. Pacers (.762)
          3. Kings (.722)
          4. Hornets (.667)
          4. Pistons (.667)
          6. Nuggets (.650)
          6. Mavs (.650)
          8. Rockets (.632)
          9. TWolves (.600)
          10. Raptors (.600)
