His firing isn't that much of a surprise. He's been on the hot seat for a while now. And with loses to the Magic (1-19 at the time) and last night to the Heat, it was bound to happen. Hopefully the Suns can start playing better now.

I said he would...........now the only coach left to fire is Byron Scott. Guarantee he won't make it till the end of the year...

you'll hear some say the majority of the coaches that are getting fired are black, etc.., but the fact of the matter is, besides Bill Cartwright, Doc, Frank, and Byron had pretty good to really good teams last year, and this year, they stinkin' it up.

...of course, Paul Silas was fired for pure upgrading reasons

I see someone wants Fratello back in the coaching ranks...this is NOT what the NBA needs. The league has gotten so young that bringing in old school coaches are proving to be bad decisions. The only old schoolers that are having any kind of success are Silas, Sloane, and the guy who coaches the Grizzlies name is escaping me GRRRR. Anyways I think the NBA needs younger coaches not old guys who can't connect with the young players.

I see someone wants Fratello back in the coaching ranks...this is NOT what the NBA needs. The league has gotten so young that bringing in old school coaches are proving to be bad decisions. The only old schoolers that are having any kind of success are Silas, Sloane, and the guy who coaches the Grizzlies name is escaping me GRRRR. Anyways I think the NBA needs younger coaches not old guys who can't connect with the young players.
