Rudy Gay deserves a Nod. Hopefully he can stay healthy (or get there w/ his current hip/hamstring) and have a very productive year.

20 & 6 for the past 4-5 years should be able to get you into at least ONE All-Star game.Comment

Re: First Time All-Stars 2012-2013
am i crazy for saying Kevin Martin ? He's been putting up somewhat allstar-like numbers as far as Scoring, but he's always been overlooked because he's never been on a winning team.
Now he's playing alongside Russel Westbrook and Kevin Durant so now the casual fans will have a chance to see him.
Kevin Martin will start for OKC btw, because OKC now has a bench that can produce (Perry Jones, Jeremy Lamb, Eric Maynor)Comment

Re: First Time All-Stars 2012-2013
Barring injuries I don't see it happening. I posted it about another guard in the west but if you look at it you got Kobe, Paul, and Westbrook as locks. Then you have Nash, Parker, and Manu. So barring injuries you have maybe one spot to go to guys like Harden, Gordon, Lawson, and others. I just don't see any first time guards making it this year unless there are injuries or their team jumps to near the top of the standings.Comment

I know Kobe, CP3, and Russ are locks for sure, but after that Harden has a real fair chance.
Manu seems to build up to many injuries as of late to really give the coaches a strong argument to select him nowadays.
Nash numbers are not going to be like they were when he was the number 1 or 2 guy in Phoenix. He's the 3rd/4th option in LA and not saying he couldn't make it as Detroit was able to get their 1-4 options (though Tayshaun was somehow left off each year), but it will be tough.
Tony Parker gives James the best fight since he's THE guy now in SA. Both Tony and Harden pretty much are the motors for their team. Maybe Tony gets it over Harden this year, but by next year I believe one of those guard spots will be reserved for the Beard for multiple years to come.Last edited by Permatron; 10-31-2012, 05:29 AM.CHICAGO BULLS'91 '92 '93 '96 '97 '98Comment
