And he's a restricted free agent, so Milwaukee will be able to re-sign him if they wish to.
Regardless, if a team throws big money at him, he's going to take it and the Bucks are not going to match.

So the stance should still remain for Milwaukee, sell high and get max value for him, rather than let him walk for nothing.

As a Bucks fan I just read today that the Bucks arent even considering trading Brandon Jennings this year. & u guys keep saying he wont resigning but u guys forget he is restricted & wants to stay. Look it up if u dont believe me. Oh and hes averaging 17pts,13assist(leads nba), 4steals(leads nba) . They wont trade him. & as a poster said the Bucks would rather keep Jennings over Ellis.

Why try and retain a player who has no desire to stay with your franchise? Sell him high.

Also, we aren't trading Booze. First off, we would be even worse off than we already are at this point and two, his contract for his on the court product is untradeable. He will be amnestied after this year. One year too late IMO but Gar is always shy on making any splashes.
No, he hasn't made that clear at all. He only said he's looking into bigger market cities and looking at the Chris Paul's of the world. Heck, I'm looking at bigger houses, right now, doesn't mean we won't stay here.

He's an RFA and he'll make more $ if he stays with the Bucks at the end of the season.

If you were the Bucks, who would you trade, Ellis(who misses the Oakland area) and who is only a one dimensional player vs Jennings, who is younger and who might have more upside vs Ellis?

Wouldn't hold my breath on Jennings leaving anytime soon, especially this year since they have no need to and Jennings has no leverage at all.

So yeah, it's basically all on Milwaukee from here on out and if they decide to pay him, he's not going to turn that extra year and $25+ mil as well.

To be honest, I'd trade both.

Neither are going to bring you what an NBA team wants, that being a championship.

Some playoff births maybe but that has yet to be seen.

Actually, Jennings has tasted the playoffs with the Bucks. We won't even get a smell of the championships until Kohl sells the team.

I just don't think you trade young "unproven talent." Not saying you can build a championship around Jennings, but he can be a part of it once new ownership rides into town.

Yeah, I meant them playing together.

That was also with Salmons and Bogut still in town. This group is unproven but I agree that Jennings has shown flashes at times that he can be a PG they can build around, but consistency hasn't been there.

Jennings trade value wouldn't be as high as some of you guys think anyway. It's not really because of him per say but more to do with the depth and quality of players at his position around the league. There are over 20 teams in the league right now who would realistically have very little to no interest in trading for him. With Holliday, Lawson, Lowry, Curry, and Lin all signing extensions or new contracts before the season started dried up some of the market. Again this is no knock on Jennings it's just that he is at the wrong position right now to bring in a huge trade deal for him.

                        Agree.

People are starting to crown him because of his 13 aspg, but it's a very small sample size. If it's ovr 10 aspg at the end of the season, then we can talk more about consistency.

Tyreke Evans: He's seemed to fall out of favor with the Kings and I doubt the Kings re-sign him this off season.

Josh Smith: The Hawks need to rebuild and he's pretty much their only legit asset.

Al Jefferson: The Jazz need to clear room and I think he's odd man out.
Am I trolling? Am I serious? Did Dennis Green and the Cardinals really "let them off the hook"? What about the children? Find out next week

                            On another note

Ellis.. Even as a Bucks fan he could leave via FA by opting out his final yr. Depending on how my Bucks are playing by the trade deadline will determine if we trade him or not.

I can see Hump being moved by the deadline this year.

Contract becomes real attractive when it's a $12 Mil expiring deal next year.
