I eventually think Mike Brown will get fired, but right now, after 2 games that's ridiculous... The Knicks haven't even had their season opener and we're talking about firing...

If Lakers reach January and are still struggling, (like 14-17) I could see him being let go, take that entire staff with him too which consists of coaches who were in the NBA and failed miserably with their team (John Kuester, Eddie Jordan) to be honest, I didn't want Mike Brown to begin with. But the Lakers are about championships, and if the Lakers don't win the championship, (which I don't see happening this season) he will be let go.

So to answer your question, it's only a matter of time, but eventually he will be let go.

should the lakers fire mike brown? I say yes the more i hear and see the more i think mike brown is a terable coach and the more i think mike brown is a lot of the lakers proble. He changes the rotaion to much he dosnt know how to use guys he is not playing jamison enough also brown plays the starters to many minutes last year he whould play black and fisher or latter affter the trade that got sessions he would play sessions and blak at the same time witch is stupid yes i know that denver plays tei lawson and andrew miller together sometimes but that different becuase both of them are good and it works blak sucks so it dosnt work to play too point gurades at the same time. When you hear what he says affter games it semes like he dosnt now what he is doing and dosnt now how to make adjustmest. I thought he should have been fired last year the lakers have alrease been kind of inconsecte even tho they are alrease good but it semes like they have bad loses way more offten with him then when they had phile. First game this year they lost to dallas without dirk and without chris chamen without those guys dallas sucks and lakers should have blowen them out. Then they lose agesnt portland who proble wont even make the playoffs this year. Also what makes me mad is the lakers should have singed rick aleman last year he has alrease been a great underated coach i would say he is proble the most underated coach in sports history.

I can hardly read this. The grammar is atrocious. It's also in one giant paragraph; this monstrosity makes my eyes hurt.

For one, they're only 0-2. Second, how do you know that Dallas and Portland suck? They've hardly played! Finally, give this team some time to gel. It took awhile for the Heat to get into high gear as well. Calling Rick Adelman the most underrated coach of all time is a bit of a stretch, don't you think?

Serious question, what Coach could've succeeded Phil without much pressure from the Outside? I think any Coach outside of MAYBE Pop would've been on the clock as soon as the first sign of trouble showed.

But then again, NBA Coaches are usually hired to be fired unless they win right away.

Sure, but a guy like Mike Brown has proven that he cannot take a team over the hump.

There were probably 10 guys more qualified and a better fit for the Lakers job than Mike Brown

I never thought the Lakers would win the finals with Mike Brown. I don't think he's that good of a coach. I still believe, if he never had LeBron with the Cavs, he wouldn't be coaching right now. To quote 23, who I believe said this, "Mike Brown is a career assistant coach."

Brian Shaw was my #1 choice, simply because of his familiarity with the team, and we would have continued on with the Triangle offense, he was Phil's understudy pretty much. Other coaches who were available, were Rick Adelman (my 2nd choice) and I believe Jerry Sloan was available. I think all those coaches are better than Mike Brown.

Edit: Hell even Kurt Rambis haha.
