I know, it's still early, but we did this at the beginning of the year. So, I figured that the 1/4 way mark is a good place to do this again. We'll probably do this at the half way mark (all-star break) and then again at the 3/4 way mark. And then we can finally see who was right about everything.
Well, here are my thoughts.
East seeding
1. Indiana Pacers
2. Boston Celtics
3. Detroit Pistons
4. New Orleans Hornets
5. Toronto Raptors
6. New Jersey Nets
7. Philadelphia 76ers
8. Milwaukee Bucks
New York might make the playoffs if they can get the rest of the season from Dice. No telling how that knee is gonna last tho.
The Magic. . . well, who knows with them. That 19 straight losing start isn't going to help their chances. They are a long shot, but with TMac on your team, and being in the east, anything is possible.
West seeding
1. Los Angeles Lakers
2. San Antonio Spurs
3. Sacramento Kings
4. Dallas Mavericks
5. Minnesota Timberwolves
6. Houston Rockets
7. Denver Nuggets
8. Memphis Grizzles
YIKES!!!! Never thought I would put those last two teams up in the playoff mix this year. Scary. The last three spots in the west are going to be really hard to predict. A lot of teams in the west are playing really well right now. Well, except for Phoenix. Weird.
I don't see the Suns making it this year tho. With injuries and a new coach, it's gonna take them a while to get things together. And by then, it might be too late for them.
Portland might make it too, as well as the Jazz. The Warriors have an outside shot at making the playoffs, but ya never know. They play good hard ball and are pretty competitive. Damn the west is tough.
NBA Champs: Lakers
East Champs: Pacers
MVP: Kevin Garnett
ROY: LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony (but most likely Melo since his team is doing so much better).
COY: Jerry Sloan
MIP: Vin Baker
DPY: Andrei Kirlenko
(Hmmmmmm. . . . I know there's more but can't think of them)
1st Team All-NBA
PG - Baron Davis
SG - Kobe Bryant
SF - Kevin Garnett
PF - Tim Duncan
C - Shaquille O'Neal
2nd Team All-NBA
PG - Jason Kidd
SG - Allen Iverson
SF - Shawn Marion
PF - Dirk Nowtizki
C - Ben Wallace
All-Defensive Team
PG - Baron Davis
SG - Allen Iverson
SF - Andrei Kirlenko
PF - Tim Duncan
C - Ben Wallace
Uhhh, ya, that's what I think. I'm sure I'm wrong on a bunch of these, but that's what I'll say for right now. Besides, I'm bored.

Ron Artest should of got Defensive POY last yr, he can guard all al=round, steals, block, boards, and can shut down any teams #1 option. I am not saying Ben Wallace is bad, but he can only block shots/board. He can not shut down any teams star guard, and I honestly beleive Artest deserves it
