Well it helps that they aren't ravaged with injuries this year, other than Bogut. I think they would've been a solid team in the past few years too if it wasn't for injuries. But Mark Jackson has that team doing good things.

Yes the Knicks demolished the Heat for a second time, but the panic button in Miami is a bit ridiculous.
This team is 2nd in the East. If the Knicks didn't exist, they'd have the best record in the conference.
Every team has a bad couple games. I just think it's a bit ridiculous that everyone is asking what's wrong with the Heat."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: 12/3 - 12/9 Game Discussion Thread
Im still skeptical that Knicks can really be effective in the Playoffs shooting threes and having no lost post threat.
I cant put my money on Melo being that dude inside and the jury is out for Amare.
No one posted up at all last night(maybe 1 or 2 turnarounds from Sheed). It was all passing and dribble penetration.
Dirk could post up during the Mavs championship run.Comment

I expect my man Westbrook to ball out tonight against the Lakers. Almost really no reason for him NOT to go off.#RespectTheCultureComment

Why not? Melo's been the low post threat all season. And statistically, he's 11th in the league in PPP from the post.[NYK|DAL|VT]

I agree CMH. But I think their defense needs some fixing. Yes... they will beat the teams their suppose. But they won't beat teams with no defense once the playoffs start. You just can't click it on. Thinking it's there all the time.
But Wade and Bosh didn't play well at all. It's a long season. So we will see what happens.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Shooting teams are hit and miss sometimes. Dallas was probably the first shooting team to win the champioship. I think they mixed defense and offense very well that year.
I still worry about Amare though. I just don't how he will effect this team on defense in the long run.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

And on the Heat, Its pretty obvious theyre coasting right now and are still in stellar shape relative to everybody else. By the playoffs they'll be ready. I know our guys won't just lay down if we meet them again. They have a confidence in playing the Heat.Comment

Dwight needs to step out the phone booth and hit them free throws when they matter, right, Shaq?
