I really like the Knicks but what's going to happen when Amare comes back. I think one of the man reason that Melo is playing so well. Is because he is playing out of position at the 4 spot (where amare would play). I remember when they use to call Jason Kidd. "Ason becaue he got no J" lol. Old man is got it.
edit: Sideshow Bob going H.A.M.

Now back to the Lakers... Here is a thing I just don't understand about Kobe Bryant. When he shoots less than 20 shots and gets 5 assist. He's teams are way above .500.
On the other hand, Kyrie Irving didn't miss a beat yesterday. Hopefully he can stay off the injury list. Because he's really good. gave the already weak Laker defense a run for it's money.
Finally glad to see Anthony Davis was back playing. Hope this foot things doesn't keep coming back.
P.S. That Knicks-Nets games were by far one of my favorite games of the season. I think they locked my in for Jan 21 at the garden lol. Now I've brought tickets for 3 games this season smh.Last edited by jeebs9; 12-12-2012, 09:23 AM.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

If I could take any player, playing at their peak, but also taking into account their mental makeup, I think I would take Carmelo.
When he wants something, dude is relentless, and he can't be stopped. This is the type of basketball I expected to see from Melo for a long time. He's in great shape, playing good defense and scoring more efficiently than he ever has. Finally becoming the player we all thought he could be. There seems to be no more "ifs" this year. Like "if" Melo started playing defense, or "if" Melo started sharing the ball then he or the Knicks could be this or that.
Well there are no more ifs, at least this season for me, so it's going to be fun to watch them go through this season. And they finally have a real NBA coach, which helps too lolCubs | Bulls | Dolphins | 'Noles

Man, **** Jason Kidd. I swear he's scored more points and made more three's than he made ALL OF LAST YEAR with us. He couldn't make a single wide open three pointer in the playoffs last year but now he wants to rain them and drive the paint and god dammit.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

I understand it just well, when he plays blackhole ball stopping basketball his team loses when he doesn't his team wins more often than not.Now back to the Lakers... I think he's saying what he doesn't understand about Kobe Bryant is why he doesn't understand that about himself and his team and stop shooting so much."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Kash you need a Kobe filter. You need to like, PM your thoughts to someone to post for you. You make some good points about Kobe on several occasions but because it's you talking about Kobe, it honestly can't be taken seriously because you can't tell if it's a legit point being made or just Kash hating Kobe again.Comment

But come on guys?.... I was cool with this kind of play by Kobe back in the day. But I just won't stand here and make excuses anymore. Yes he is dropping huge numbers. But at the expense of the team. I'd be cool with this if they were winning games. Kobe has basically scared his teamamtes in sharing the ball. And it's obviously not because he has a bad team. This whole Kobe shoots when he wants thing is very stupid. He has had some very bad turnovers too. I just don't get it.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Re: 12/10 - 12/16 Game Discussion Thread
That was a legit basketball point. There have been many times where Kobe has gotten the ball and was dead set on shooting. He hasn't been moving the ball, He's been lazy on defense and he's been turning the ball over a lot. Then he proceeds to throw his teammates under the bus after that. I'm sure many others agree with meKash you need a Kobe filter. You need to like, PM your thoughts to someone to post for you. Re: 12/10 - 12/16 Game Discussion Thread
This is the reality for the Bulls this year. Good enough to compete with good teams but not good enough to win. Even with some bad calls down the stretch it comes down to playmaking and there is none. Especially with Nate on the bench. Hinrich can run the plays but when they get broken who gets the ball and what are they going to do?
Been saying it all season long. This season should have been more about experiments then winning. Should have brought players with upside (Terrence Williams for example) and see what happened. Worse case scenario would be a release.
They need to check out CDR. Been doing well in the D League.Comment

Can't disagree but the problems go deeper then what you just mentioned. That was a legit basketball point. There have been many times where Kobe has gotten the ball and was dead set on shooting. What's wrong with doing both? Experimenting and winning? I mean technically this is what every team is doing anyway over the course of an 82 game season. This is the reality for the Bulls this year. Good enough to compete with good teams but not good enough to win. Even with some bad calls down the stretch it comes down to playmaking and there is none. Especially with Nate on the bench. Oh and trust me, you don't want either CDR or Terrence Williams on your team.#RespectTheCultureComment
