Houston and Thomas for Kobe, Rush, and Pargo. The Knicks do it because they need a star in NY, should be willing to take a chance on prison because they need cap relief anyway, and get some young gaurds too. Lakers do it because Kobe right now I think is either going to prison or leaving for Memphis...etc. LA also knows that they must take back less than they give because Kobe might not even play for his new team more than the rest of the year.
