The Lakers are a mess. /Understatement.

They aren't fun to watch and haven't been for a while dating back years. I've slowly become a Clipper fan because they actually play team basketball. They have fun and don't have egos for the most part.

Nash isn't going to put this team over the top.

Paul has always been one of my favorite athletes along with Nash.

Damn, D'Antoni is being really candid right now. Pretty much just said Jordan Hill is out of luck even though he doesn't deserve it. Said Ron Artest is best at the power forward, which takes Hill's minutes.

No Jamison. No Hill. Interesting.

As if Noah is some garbage *** player incapable of a triple double.

I don't watch the ESPN studio coverage of NBA games (Magic, Jalen, Wilbon) but Bill Simmons is just flat out terrible. I've sat here over the years and heard guys just talk about Bill Simmons as if he was some journalism king. But this guy is just the driest, corniest coverage guy I've ever seen.

The NBA should slap themselves for allowing that ESPN to cover their games. As slapstick as some people may label the TNT crew, it is night& day when compared to the ESPN crew. Ugh.

Tonight we got the Knicks-Nets Round III, which is becoming one of the leagues most exciting rivalry. Interesting to see how the Nets guard Kidd after the buzzer beater.

Simmons is a Celtics homer....not surprised at all, lol

Simmons has pretty much been a dud on ESPN....I love his writing, loved the Book of Basketball, but his wit doesn't translate to television. At this point he's the ESPN version of Shaq.

Really thought they where gona get embarrassed at home by the bobcats when they where down 16 some late in the 3rd. A good reaction by the Lakers nontheless.

I'll pass on D'Antoni's coaching though, it just doesn't make sense, never did.

Not any contrast of styles or anything....just that they are the most painful to listen to out of their respectful crews...

Rather it be Shaqs bumbling, or Bill Simmons golf commentator approach it's just not a good look IMO

Ahh okay, in that respect yes.

I still don't think Simmons is as bad as Jalen Rose or Shaq though. That's like a whole other level of bad.

I wouldn't consider myself a Simmons homer, but he's definitely less painful than other guys ESPN has. However, I would still much rather read his articles and listen to podcasts, rather than see him on pre-game.
