West has already stated that he wants Kobe's career to end in LA.

O well, better start looking for Lebron...

Find a way around that man. Kobe can sign as a FA his last year in the NBA with LA and then retire.

you do realize memphis are as close to a ring as the knicks themselves...he goes to the knicks...major market...his own team...its all good

on a note pertaining to this thread...i hate how the knicks tease us as fans...when everyone comes to play...then other nights their not in the building(see: van horn, keith)

Mem is a bit better, they're still placed in the Western Conference and has a decent shot at making the playoffs. But, the Knicks don't have the one factor for Kobe's arrival in Memphis: Jerry West.

Forget that, I would like to see how the heck Knicks would get Salary Cap relief, when they are the highest paid team in the league. When you accomplish that, Kobe or no Kobe, I believe T-Mac is coming to the market next season...but first, I don't see Isiah, or anyone for that matter, being able to free up the space, especially with our players and their contracts-which leads to my next point; STINK UP THE JOINT, and get the #1 lottery pick. At least try it, maybe even for two years in a row, but of course I don't see Dolan willing to lose the money, even though this is what majority of the Knicks fans want.

                  - Lavar Arrington on his new Redskins teammate Sean Taylor.

Man, Kobe's name has to come up all the time.

I say, if the Lakers win the championship, Kobe is staying in LA.
