Actually they seemed to have a decent chance at it last season before Rubio injured his knee..

I don't know why you think a rookie PG is automatically enough to make a crappy team a playoff team though.

Kobe didn't lead his Lakers to the playoffs in 04-05 despite averaging 27, 6, and 6

Wade didn't make the playoffs in 07-08.

Griffin didn't make the playoffs when he was putting up 22 and 12 before Chris Paul got there.

As I said before Lamarcus Aldridge didn't make the playoffs last year.

      Z-Bo didn't make the playoffs from 03-09 despite averaging 20 and 10.

Paul Pierce from 05-07 (till he got Rondo, Allen, and Garnett) missed the playoffs despite averaging 24, 6, and 4.

Kevin Garnett during his prime between 04-07 didn't make the playoffs despite averaging 22, 13, and 4.

The point is, you can still be a great player, but have a ****ty team.

Not so sure that's at all logical.

Especially for a rebuilding team like Minnesota... You act like Rubio as a rookie was supposed to make them a playoff team.. then even worse he tears his knee up.

With that said, I don't think Kevin Love can even be considered the clear cut best at his position to begin with.
