He's the best player in the world, there's going to be nights where he needs to play that amount. He's not even top 5 in minutes this season...Comment

He's gonna have a shortened career or end up injured.. I don't care who he is.
Also this would be crazy
Griz CEO Jason Levien, whom principal owner Robert Pera has entrusted to run the franchise, is gauging the value of several players on the roster. There also have been exploratory trade conversations centered on forward Zach Randolph.
The Sacramento Kings are one of the teams that the Griz recently held preliminary talks with, according to a league source.Comment

Re: 1/7 - 1/13 Games Discussion Thread.
He really isn't. You're saying he isn't top five in minutes but what's number 5? Batum with 38.5. Bron is averaging 38.3. So he's number 7 behind Joe Johnson, big difference. The amount of work Bron is doing in his 38.3 is different than what those other guys are being asked to do anyway. With the exception of maybe Deng and Kobe.Comment

What superstar in their 20's isn't averaging around 36-38 minutes?
EDIT: Chris Paul maybe? I know he's on a pretty deep team..Comment

Re: 1/7 - 1/13 Games Discussion Thread.
I will say that it being LeBron's 10th year, I look to Karl Malone and MJ's careers as a comparison..
MJ in his 11th year was the first of his next three titles.. which saw his minutes go down considering his body was changing/aging
Malone in his 12th year saw his minutes dip down his usual
That looks like the season where bodies begin to truly break down or at least slow down, in the 11th or 12th year. So LeBron could already be at his crossroad in terms of being more athletic than everyone else... which is crazy to think about.
But if you look at MJ's and Malone's minutes the first 10 years you'll see something very similar to LeBron's. Granted LeBron played in two Olympics as opposed to MJ/Malone playing in only one.Comment
