Re: 1/7 - 1/13 Games Discussion Thread.
I see Pacers fans getting emotional and wound up again. There is nothing going on in that interview with LeBron. As usual you are reading too much into it, trying too hard to find something.
First of all, it's the Pacers who started talking trash last year and then got beat in a series. Talking won't do much, you just have to be better than the other team. They weren't and aren't until they prove otherwise. The best they can do right now is shut up.
Indiana is a young and developing team that has improved each season over the last 3 years and is coming into their own. Of course they're going to be ****ing happy beating Chicago last year after they were ousted in 5 games a few months before. And of course they're going to be happy up 2-1 against the best team in the league.
I just don't understand where LeBron is going with those comments. Whats the point?Indianapolis Colts
Indiana Pacers
Indiana Hoosiers
Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Re: 1/7 - 1/13 Games Discussion Thread.
Me personally, I'm dying without League Pass. I'm a fan of basketball, so I want to be able to watch the Celtics v. Timberwolves or Pacers v. Cavs cause I just love the game and love being able to know what I'm talking about when I say something like Paul George is the future.Comment

Man...F&@$ the NBA. Suspending Melo for a big prime time game against the Pacers. I want the pacers to play them at full strength.Comment

Does any player comment on other players and teams (like a fan would) the way LeBron does?
I actually like that about him. Seems to be the type that can't wait to watch NBA on TNT if his team isn't playing. He always seems to tweet or comment on big nights or plays.
It seems that a lot of athletes don't actually love their sport. LeBron is one of those guys that does.

And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

I'm not even a cavs fan but I even felt the knife being stuck in my back when he left but that's a different topic for another time.
Back on topic though what's the % at that Kobe goes 40+Comment

Cavs second unit is Jeremy Pargo, Shaun Livingston, Omri Casspi, Kevin Jones and Tyler Zeller.
Going to be hard for anyone to out tank that. Well, until Luke Walton's back then it can top that line-up.Last edited by Thelorn; 01-09-2013, 07:46 PM.If flopping was rewarded in real life as it is in the NBA, I’d swerve into guard rails each time someone changed lanes in front of me. - Alan HahnComment

That's why I loved him in Cleveland he was a humbled youngster that loved the game and was appreciative of his opportunity that he got when taken 1 overall.
