Man, when did Matt Barnes get good at shooting 3's? He's been ridiculous this year.Comment

Looking a bit too familiar so far for the Mavs.
Seems like when these good teams tighten down the screws and take it up a notch Dallas just can't get it into that next gear to respond. (how many bad announcer clichés can I use in one post?)
That stretch of clippers offensive rebounds killed us.Last edited by Tydis; 01-10-2013, 01:05 AM.Comment

Well I give credit to the guys for not folding like I expected after the Clippers made their run. Mike Breen put it really well at the end when he said normally this would just be a tough loss to a great team, not unlike what happened quite frequently last year, last year's team lost a lot of close games as well, but because their record is so bad, every loss is magnified.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

James Harden set a franchise record with 14 consecutive 25+ point games. Dude is having himself a franchise player season. Wow. His creativity is something to behold. Wish he was still with the Thunder, they would be even more scary.Comment

But he wouldn't be having this kind of production due to lack of mins with the Thunder. That's the reason he was traded he wanted a bigger role and the Thunder said no.Comment

Re: 1/7 - 1/13 Games Discussion Thread.
Well obviously. Doesn't mean they wouldn't be even more scary than they were last season. He's evolved as a player and would have taken that team to another level.Comment

Already the best in the west, not too much higher you can go unless you mean it could push them past Miami.Comment

Re: 1/7 - 1/13 Games Discussion Thread.
Yep, that's how much better. I didn't see OKC win a title yet, so that's the next level. Haha. Not to mention getting to the top, and staying at the top. Depending on Durant/WB to carry that load is a lot to ask for when the playoffs hit. The other West teams are stacked and as much as I like Kevin Martin there is no comparison between he and Harden.Comment

That's a pretty strong hypothetical. Especially considering that he would of been playing with WestbrookComment

Greg Oden is going to resume his career and plans to come back during the 13-14 season.
The Heat are going to pursue him.

you guys are bugging about kobe not hitting clutch shots, he hits major clutch shots all the time.
he just hasnt hit a game winning shot in a while is more accurate.
ok so i get that, but what i dont understand is why dont the coaches ever help him out by drawing up a play where his job is just to finish the play.
seems like from phil to mike brown to d'antoni the coaces never help him out, just kobe iso and lets see what happens.
i think phil had 1 play the lakers ran all the time, and kobe made that shot quite often. the play where he got the pick handoff from gasol at the 3pt line. ya know the play instead of having to do all the work to create and finish the playThrough Holy Union God Lives Inside For Everyone
