The more I see Lillard play the more I like him. I think I'd rather have him than John Wall.

Don't know if I can agree with that. Lillard has a great game. But I don't see how much more he can improve in the next 5 years. I feel as though Wall ceiling is way more higher than Lillard right now. Just my opinion.

Improve his jump shot to be more efficient, work on limiting turnovers?

I think the ceiling you're referring to has much more to do with athleticism than actual on the court play.

Lillard has still has work to do, and it may not show directly in the box score but he will get better. IMO he already controls the half court better than Wall ever has.

And I totally agree with what you said about the half court. Wall isn't much in the half court. John Wall reminds me of Jason Kidd. Jason Kidd turned over the ball alot too. I think the jump shot will come like most player as he gets older. I think Lillard can work on his passing and defense. I just think John Wall has the chance to be the best pg in the league. While Lillard will probably be in that Tony Parker range of pg's.

edit: I might be completely wrong. And eating my words in 10 years. But that's just the way I feel when I see both of them.

Rondo reminds me more of Jason Kidd than wall.

Lillard has shown incredible leadership as a rookie. Chauncey Billups maybe?

John Wall I can't think of a comparison.

Kidd was such a weird point guard. He was trapped in a shooting guard type of body (I mean build solidly. Not these skinny guys we're talking about). I don't like the Rondo comparison so much. Rondo really can't shoot lol jk. I just don't see Rondo being 3rd all time in three pointers. Maybe Kidd was pushing it.

Why Memphis? Why trade away your only shooter?

They're that desperate to get under the luxury tax.

It's better than trading away Gay or Randolph because of that.

Kidd was such a weird point guard. He was trapped in a shooting guard type of body (I mean build solidly. Not these skinny guys we're talking about). I don't like the Rondo comparison so much. Rondo really can't shoot lol jk. I just don't see Rondo being 3rd all time in three pointers. Maybe Kidd was pushing it.

Kidd couldn't really shoot either.

Guy is a 40% career shooter.

Actually think the Rondo comparison is pretty accurate. Both exceptional rebounding guards. Can play defense on multiple positions and both see the floor at an exceptional level.

I don't watch Clipper basketball, but definitely tuning into the game against the Thunder. I hope it's on NBATV for you guys cause that would completely blow.

On a side note, Kobe says today will be the first time he's watched his 81-point game. I feel like Kobe is one of the biggest liars on the face of the Earth.

I don't watch Clipper basketball, but definitely tuning into the game against the Thunder. I hope it's on NBATV for you guys cause that would completely blow.

Guards PGs and SGs and guarded LeBron at times last year as well during the playoffs. With the addition of Bradley, he hasn't needed to do it as much.
