They should just make everyone available. They're not going to get any better value the longer they wait to trade these old guys. I still can't believe Ainge signed Green to that deal though.

If Miami or NY doesn't represent the conference they should be ashamed.

One of them should, but the other shouldn't.

But then again, it is real easy to say all this now since it's only January so meh.

I doubt Boston does anything to start a "rebuild" until after the season anyway, regardless of the news they got.

How the hell does Boston rebuild without being able to trade Rondo?

Who wants Pierce's rapidly aging body?

Maybe someone will trade for KG during the push...but who? And what would they give up for literally a rental? And can KG reject a trade?

Boy oh boy, not looking good for the Celtics.

I don't know, but I would assume they wouldn't trade Rondo anyway.

But you're right it'll be a challenge to trade these old guys. If anything just take draft picks or something.

If you rebuild/blow it up there's no way you trade Rondo. That argument always made me chuckle especially with his contract.

Yep and so has Granger. But I don't expect them to come right in and be anywhere near 100%. They'll have to work their way back into the swing of things and who knows how their knees will hold up.

I just look at it if there's anybody other than Miami representing the East, then yeah I'd be shocked too. Even with the Knicks, I still wouldn't consider them a "lock" per se in the same breath we consider Miami a "lock" you know. But like I said, it's still January so who knows how they'll look in the next few months.

It will be interesting to see how Chicago will look once Rose comes back(I'm guessing that's just a matter of time now even though I think he should've sat the whole year out)since they've played great without him and have looked to hold their own against any team as well. I think they're 1-0 against the Heat and 3-0 against the Knicks without Rose.

Yes, and has been for a few weeks with limited contact. Still aiming for a March return.

He will be back for the playoffs.

Like who though? Not sure anyone would want PP at this point, especially if that team would have to give up a young asset.
