I am starting to think he is. He is a better 3point shooter then kobe has ever been he scores more effectly he is shooting 56% this year the highest kobe has ever shoot is like 47%. He also gets more assist i think he is getting close to being has good has jordan was even.

i dont think you can use stats alone to make your case tho i know alot of folks do/will.

for 1, it obvious that kobe never gave 2 craps about his shooting percentages. .

and lebron is at the very least conscience about his stats and percentages; i mean this is the same guy who right after getting eliminated from the playoffs was sporting a t-shirt that read check my stats.

far as 3pt, i dont know their percentages, but i dont really care either. to me you cant just look at stats because they take different types of 3pt shots. kobe takes alot of 3s from the triple threat position w/ a defender right there, whereas lebron takes more open 3pt shots. basically lebron takes better quality 3pts shots imo, which affects percentages some.

but if you watch closely, neither misses alot of wide open 3pt shot. also dont 4 get that kobe owns the record for the most 3pt shots drained in 1 game with 12.

far as assist, well they have different mental makeups in their approach to offense, but kobe has clearly shown if nothing else that if he wanted to (which he typically doesnt) he could average more assist than he normally does for his career.

so my point in all this is that, how can you use stats alone to justify your arguement, when it quite obvious that 1 player doesnt give 2 craps about his percentages and the other 1 does or at the very least is conscience of them.
