Who do you guys think will be the next person to get one of those 70+ point games? My bets are on KD. There is simply nobody who could stop him. He's nearly 7 feet tall and is crossing people over like it's nothing, and can shoot over anyone in the NBA.

KD wont get it unless Westbrook is either hurt,sick,traded,benched,kicked out of game. No way KD will shoot that many times to get 70+ but I hope he does -

I really think If he wanted to Lebron could put up a 60+ point game. If he is able to get to 31 on 14 shots Then he would be easily able to get 60+ if he really wanted to. However I don't think Lebron really desires to do that so I will say Kevin Durant.

Im sorry. 20+ ppg game is good, but when your talkin over 70 points,
Your talkin super next level scoring.
Im not ready to give that output to you run-of the mill 20 ppg scorer.
Were talkin Wilt, The Admiral, Jordan, Kobe EXTRA stuff.

It would have to be a perfect storm of a guy with no conscience to shoot, a coach who would let him shoot that much, and a bad opponent with a broken spirit who wouldn't D up on him. Actually, I think the closest guy in the league right now who could do it is... Kobe, again.Comment

We also have to realize that the person would have to be the selfish jerk that Kobe is.
So for all those that say Durant, I dont think he can be the front runner. Though I know he could if he put his mind to it.
So I'd have to say Westbrook. He is the ability AND mentality/ego to do it. Melo is a close second.Comment

The thing is its gonna be someone with a water jumpshot.
And any big man that could dominate inside in the league right now couldnt go 20 for 20 from the free throw line.
Melo is a good choice. He can shoot and get inside buckets.
When Robinson went for 70 what was the climate?
I think the opposing team let him score just so he could beat Shaq by percentage points to get the scoring 'award'.
