Great win for L.A. Sorry about that Kashanova.
Howard has been really playing with more athleticism theses last 2 games. He's not completely there yet but it's definately better, especially his hustle, his defense, the way he hedges and make that extra step to close out better on shooters. That's nice, let's hope he didn't injure himself again because it didn't look good.
Props to Metta too for playing the way he should play. Hustling in defense, stealing balls, creating plays for himself. Not the MettAllen that jacks up fadeaway 3 pointers like he was Stockton's cousin. He also, once again played great defense in the post on Aldrige. Great, great defense, he's a pest. That hand on Aldridge's face while he was fading away to make it a 1 point game might have been the play of the game.
Great offensive game by Kobe too with what could have been a very costly unforced turnover at the end.
Overall though I thought the transition's defense and half court's defense of the first half was pretty bad. They really have to hustle from the start. Hickson was getting dunks like it is nothing.
Battum is still a beast and makes the most crazy shots. How many circus shots has he made under the rim in his career?
