Those are my ideas, some old school, some just to make the fan feel like he is in a seat.

                  2. Televise the national anthem and starting lineups. This is why the networks break away for the latest shoe commercial (I know to pay the bills). But, again, I felt I was there by seeing the national anthem and then the starting lineups for BOTH teams, including the Bull's video intro.

                  3. Leave the Coaches' mics on during the game. WGN didn't have a "sound of the game" or that crap. They just simply left the coaches' microphone on. I liked hearing what Skiles said to get the technical and Lenny working the officials. Good work by the sound director.

Those are all great ideas, especially 1 & 2. I would love to see the players during the pregame warmups instead of having to see two grown men talking to each other from 3 inches away (ever notice how close the broadcasters get when they face each other).

Starting lineups should be a given. I feel like I've seen the Bulls starting lineup a million times when Jordan was on the team, but they don't do that for any team anymore...it sucks.

MSG always used to show the starting lineups for Knicks games. I haven't seen them do it at all lately, though maybe I missed it sometimes.

I guess it's more important for the bald headed guys to talk about meaningless stuff for half an hour instead.
