Best Endings to a Basketball Game!

What are some of your best endings to a game? I'll tell you about one that occured with me and my riend while playing ID 2002.

I was the Wizards and he was the Kings. He started out on fire, but I came back and it was tied up at the half. I was unstoppable with Jordan and Hamilton and his whole team was stepping up big. Well I'll take you to the last few seconds of the ggame. He was up 94-93 with 10 seconds left. I passed the ball in to none other than MJ. I started just dribbling around and then I drove, got a crossover and hit a layup! I thought it was the buzzer: it wans't. There was 0.6 seconds left on the clock. Well he called time out and got possession of the ball at half court. He inbounded the ball in to a wide open Peja Stoicavich who was just chillin there at the free throw line. Stoijacavich somehow got the ball in the air and it went in the basket, nothing but net. So what are some of ur endings?

Just like yours. I was the Pacers, my friend was the Lakers. Kobe made a 3 pointer and took 2 points lead with 0.9 seconds left. I called time out and got possession of the ball at half court. Inbounded the ball to Rigger Miller who was near the half court line, and made a half court 3 pointer!!! I could't believe it. I was very excited and couldn't sleep that night.

mine was in NBA 2k2, I was the Celtics playing the Kings in the Finals, the 2nd game (I was up 1-0). Pierce had 47 points, he was on fire, and Walker had a double double 12 points, 11 recounds. I was up by 1 with 28 seconds to go, the Kinds inbounded the ball, then took there time before Bibby hit a jumper from about 15 with 9 seconds on the clock. So I inbounded it past half court, then called timeout to calm my nerves down and prepare for the final play. I inbounded it to Walker, who dribbled a couple times, then threw it over to Pierce on the left wing. I held it for a couple seconds, then did a crossover, then went straight up for the jumper, it banked, hit the rim, then went in as the buzzer sounded.

well i was the pacers and my cousin was the west all stars and I was waxin his ***. I was up by 40 at the half. So I just start dunking the second half. I Dont even pay attention to the score until the fourth quarter. forth quarter comes and I look at the score, hes up by 5 with 50 seconds to go. So I hit a 3 with reggie, block payton's layup and dunk with o'neal with about 20 some seconds left. he goes for a 3 with Kobe, miss I hold the ball till like 5 secs left give the ball to best, drive for the lay...charge, 1.7 secs left... he gets the ball and does an inbouds ally to kobie with .8 secs remaining. I call timeout, inbound to reggie from about 30 feet out...it rolls around the rim for a couple of seconds, it goes in...

Mine is from NBAID 2002.It was the all-star game and I had the East and the West were not missing anything in the 1st half.Then in the 2nd half I changed my game plan and we broke a 25-point lead to 10 by the 4th quarter.Then we had the lead by 1 with 17 secs left and they gave the ball to Shaq and he dunks and then he gets the and 1 off of Mutombo who fouled out off of that and Shaq made the free throw to give the West a 2 point lead.So I give Jordan the ball at the free throw line and he nails the fade so we're headed to OT.In OT Jordan and Shawn Marion were going at it until we found ourselves in OT2.Now Iverson is hot until the last minute now Jordan takes it from there and we are up by 1 with 14 seconds left and Kobe hit a 3 with .6 left and I gave it to Jordan at half court and he hits it so I started spinning in cirlces and I was jumping for joy.

No offense, but I've got the grand daddy of basketball video game finishes.

It was way back in the day, Coach K's College Basketball for the Genesis. Great game. I was my beloved Kentucky (at the time), playing against Indiana in the final of the big ole tournie. Winner was national champion.

In the waning seconds, I sink a 3 pointer to take a 1 point lead with .5 seconds left. With no timeouts, Indiana inbounds the ball and heaves up a prayer from their own free throw line. Their prayer was answered. Indiana won the national championship by 2 points on a desperation heave.

I wasn't even mad, either. I silenty congratulated the guy who shot it, silently congratulated God on another job well done on his part, and then went about my day.

I don't, however, ever remember playing Coach K after that. Not that I didn't like it anymore, but where could I have gone from there? What else was left?
