This has to be one of the biggest gambles i've seen. He had a serious injury didn't fully recover and they gave him the max. He hasn't even played 82 games since. Just imagine where Orlando would be without him.

we dont know where they would have been...one of the many wonders of the world we'll never find out...
the only positve is that tmac would have not developed into the player he is today if it wasnt for that injury...if he wasnt thrown to the wolves...his game would have deveoloped...but probably not as quickly -
