12 days after surgery? I think MWP is retiring in the summer - no other logical explanation to risk that for the 8th seed unless you knew it was your last go.

He isn't retiring at all. He will sign an extension soon. Daniel Artest said this, his brother.

Although it's stupid to come back this early. Yeah the Lakers need players to come back quick but come on. It's a gamble. That's all the Lakers do, they gamble.

Gamble on trades, gamble on players's health, gamble on defense.

As per typical Nets, running a team out the gym first half will lead to an upcoming crap second half. Then again, Philly doesn't have a winning record and the Nets seem to win games against those teams.

Man the Pacers are playing bad at the wrong time.

It could also be a blessing in disguise as well.

Knicks-Celtics go 7 indiana win in 5 in the 1st round & we are well rested and battle it out with a restless Knicks team that's already thin upfront.

Hopeful thinking.

But we're not playing well right now.

X-Rays negative, sprained ankle for K-Mart. Still have to hear how severe it is, bu that's better than it initially looked when he went down.
