Being a T-Wolves fan, the Kings probably scare me the least of the top teams in the West. Christie can take away Cassel or Spree, but the other will have a field day. Plus with Szerbiak, Hudson, and Olwakandi (or Juwan Howard if the trade is made) I don't think the Kings can stay with the T-Wolves. Over the past few years the T-wolves have had pretty good luck against the Kings. KG can dominate Webber most nights making Webber take 15-18 footers. Pedja and Sczerbiak cancel each other out, with a slight advanatage going to Pedja. Brad Miller will help but not enough to beat the Wolves.

The Lakers and the Spurs scare the crap out of me. Both those teams will be tough come playoff time. All that experience in the playoffs gives them a distint advantage over the Wolves.

The Mavs are a non factor. The Wolves have almost as much firepower as they do, and have twice the defense.

What makes you think he won't pull another epic choke job in the playoffs like he did last year? Will Hudson play out of this world again? Besides KG, who else do the wolves have up front? While the regular season is one thing, the playoffs are a different animal all together and the Kings depth would win out in the long run. I'll agree that it's between the Kings and the Lakers still, but come on, the Wolves have no chance?

Before this year, I would have agreed with you. But this year, they've got a legit chance to go to the Western Finals. Cassell's a cold-blooded 4th quarter monster. Spree is as tough as they come, and he's been to the finals before also. KG is hungrier than ever, and I don't think he'll be happy with just getting out of the 1st round this year. In a 7 game series, I think they could put up a great fight against the Kings. Especially if they have homecourt throughout the playoffs.

I see a 3-way between the Lakers - Kings - T'Wolves. The Spurs might get into this mix, but if you look at it . . .T'wolves just have too much talent and the best player in the game today. Obviously, the Wolves line-up on paper looks better than the Kings. There is just one thing we keep forgetting, the Kings have the highest overall TEAM basketball IQ. That's what makes them so good.

As of the Lakers. . .I don't know what you can say. Payton and Malone are as hungry as anyone. Healthy Shaq + Kobe in the playoffs = murder for the opponent.
