Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - 1st Round Discussion Thread

So is J. Noah coming back and is he anywhere near healthy?

Should be a fun first round even though I diss the East a lot. Minus the Heat/Bucks, should be cool all around.

Thanks good sir. Added the Dates/Times to the first post.

        Oh and this:

        Heat in 4
        Knicks in 6
Bulls in 5(I trust Thibs more than Peter John in the postseason)
Pacers in (I trust Frank Vogel and I don't trust any team where Johan PetROFL is a part of a team's playoff rotation)

Noah is back (as is Taj) and ended the season on a minutes limit - remains to be seen if it carries over - but he didn't look good last night. He said he was rusty, his stat line would appear to confirm as much ... zero points, one board, one dime, one steal, two turnovers in 14 minutes.

With no Rose, it does come down to Noah. As big as Deng is for the team, I really think at this point one could argue Noah rivals his importance to this squad.

Any word on Rose? I got a feeling the Bulls might win that series.

Only Rose knows about Rose. He was cleared a couple of months ago. He was my "young boy" but checking for him this season is pointless right now. If he wasn't comfortable enough for regular season ball, he won't be comfortable for playoff ball.

Then again, he may have been saving himself for a run...

Think the Bulls take down the Nets.

Just don't see the Nets being a legit playoff basketball team this year. The Bulls eat up teams that don't share the ball in the half court. The Nets are one of those teams.

Definitely could be an ugly series though.

No way the Knicks lose to the Celtics man. Especiallly with home court. Different teams this year.

Y'all are sleeping on Boston. Anthony is gonna have to wait til next season to win his first playoff series. Celtics in 6 or 7.

                              I agree.

JR goes cold and Melo cools off. No stat. Throwin a overlooked Celtics team that's well coached. It's going to be a fun series.

Hopefully no horrific injuries like we saw all throughout the 1st round in the East last year.
