I don't know. I mean, I don't think the Hawks are a very good team but they certainly have good players. West has had a whole lot of issues with Horford and even Smith. As had George(with Smith). Korver can be deadly at times as we saw tonight. As I said give them credit. They put us in a hole, we fought back, Paul George got his game going and it looked as though we were going to steal the game. Then Smith nails a 3 followed by a Korver 3. What can I say. They made big shots down the stretch.
Indy does need to address the bench situation in the offseason if they want to go anywhere in the future. That bench just sucks. I guess Granger coming back will put Stephenson back on the bench, but that's not enough.Last edited by z Revis; 04-29-2013, 10:25 PM.Indianapolis Colts

The Pacers bench is awful. The signings in the offseason that were supposed to upgrade the bench have all played terrible. Thankfully Augustin is only a one year contract, but Mahinmi and Green each somehow got multi-year contracts. Also, I'm glad the Pacers felt the need to draft Miles Plumlee in the 1st round and basically use a redshirt on him this season. I guess the front office felt they had the luxury to draft a player that didn't need to possibly help the team this year.
It would be nice to see the Pacers defense also show up in this series for a full game. So far in this series the defense has been MIA just like it was at the end of the regular season save for a few quarters here and there. Especially David West, I know Horford is a matchup problem for West, but he just looks very slow. It's really the same for West on the offensive end as well.
Game 5 will be huge and is, I feel, a must win for the Pacers. Given their struggles playing at Atlanta and the momentum that the Hawks would have winning three in a row, I wouldn't feel confident that this Pacers team could win an elimination game in Atlanta.Comment

Yeah I don't understand what is wrong with our defense. Hasn't been the same since probably that western conference road trip at the end of March.

It seems to me Atlanta is handling their matchup situation better than Indy at this point. Vogel needs to make some kind of adjustment. Atlanta can be tough though because they can go big or small, and they can also get fast really quick. Teague and Devin Harris in the backcourt is a combo that not many teams can effectively defend if Teague and Harris play smart.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers
