Why are people acting like there was a parade or something or confetti was being dropped from the rafters

Jermaine O'Neal and alot of people are blowing this WAY out of proportion. Marbury has celebrated the EXACT SAME WAY AFTER EVERY WIN since he's been a Knick. Cradling the ball and saluting the crowd.

Does JO get offended when Allen Iverson salutes the crowd after a big shot? NO.

He just needed to shut his mouth and move along.

I'm glad the Pacers are feeling so good about themselves, just like they did last year. Until JO can greatly outplay the PF that he's matched up with in the playoffs, they'll never advance. That's a fact. Until then, this is all moot.

                              from the indystar today:

Upset with himself for not playing well despite coming back quicker than expected from a neck injury he suffered last Saturday against Boston, O'Neal was emphatic about the immediate future.

"You can be hurt all you want or come in the game banged up, but if you say 'I'm ready,' you're telling everybody you're ready and you have to go out there and produce. And I didn't play well on either end of the floor.

As for him being outplayed, he has been beat, namle by K-Mart, but it hasnt all been his fault. They had many things going against them with the players, like I stated earlier, and then some questionable coaching moves.

They are a different team this year, if you couldnt get that from watching them three games this yr (Im assuming you only watch them when they play NY), then, well, oh well.
