I'm actually thankful now that Vince wasn't in this crapfest but he'd prolly walk away with the prize after his first dunk.

I never even heard of Fred Jones or that Anderson guy from Denver. (granted the NBA has become boring to me but I should know the participants of an all-star competition)

I've heard of fred jones. He won a lot of dunk contests when he was at oregon.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Fred Jones won off of a dunk that wasn't even a dunk.

Yeap I remember last allstar game, that was a big joke. I couldn't believe they called that foul. David Stern better do something about this or else the competetions aren't going to be worth watching much longer.

I think that the dunk contest was good because all of you kept saying it was going to be bad. But this contest would've had to be perfect to keep all of you from coming here bitching about "the worst ever" and "get rid of it" and "NBA doesnt know what its doing". You know it and I know it. The only "real" problem wit tha contest was only 4 participants.

                  which brings me to...

Stop bitching about the 3 year rule. The NBA has obviously already gotten ridden of it because they went after mason (declined because he had alreadu planned vacation after NBA declined him) and Ricky Davis. That rule was also why they only managed 4 players, and lord knows thats not enough. Also, as much as y'all talk bout getting back stars, none of them have shown interest outside of VC. Give me 'Melo and 'Bron working all three days next year (dunk, all star, soph) and I'm happy.

Yes, Chris Andersen got robbed. Yes, the ending was anti-climatic. Yes, only dunkers should be judges. No, Fred Jones first dunk didn't deserve a 50. No, it wasnt the best, and far from it. But, the contest was still entertaining.

BTW, fred jones last dunk scored higher cuz it still went in

they have to do something about the dunk contest. i think we all nkow if only if j-rich made that dunk he will be the champion. fred jones won out of a dunk which even doesn't look like one. i feel sorry for chris anderson. his dunks were pretty tight though, but if you are just new in the contest and not well recognized for dunks, you will have a low score. oh well. i hope to see superstar dunkers next year. and missed dunks? they have to do some rulling about that.
