Lol... Even as a diehard laker fan I would never think of using that pointless argument. Maybe it would have some merit if wade didnt have any rings.

Prime Kobe was the better defender over prime wade imo, especially onball, but I guess wade was a better defender for a longer time. Kobe has been lazy the last few years on defense.

Not lazy, just old. Considering how active the Lakers need him to be on offense, he has to "rest" on defense occasionally.

Good point, but watching our matches this year I just wish he was able to give a little more on defense.

I would take Wade over Kobe. Yes, Kobe is better at scoring, but I don't think the gap is that large.
Rebounding, blocking shots, steals, passing and overall defensive easily go to Wade.
If it's one-on-one, I would take Kobe, but just slightly.
For a season, give me D-Wade. He doesn't alienate his teammates or run the best player in the league out of town. (Kobe-Shaq)
Also with Wade, you don't have to worry about him off the court.

Until this day I think the Lakers should of never got rid of Shaq. I think Wade stole one of Kobe's rings lol jk.

That's how I feel too. It's like the best of Jordan in two players.

For career accomplishment's it's not really debatable. If I had one game with either player at their prime I'd take Wade though.

Kobe is the better guy. Flash is great in his own right but even at his peak he was only carrying Miami to a .500 record. Kobe didn't do any better but he was pretty much unstoppable. He also developed a lot more in his game than Wade, evidence of Wade looking like one dimensional guy most of the time while Kobe can still dominate almost nightly.

Kobe is much better offensively than wade and it is not even close IMO. Defensively wade is better but not by much, and when Kobe locks in for a quarter or a series he can be just as good as wade on the defensive end.

Let's see how wade does at 35 when he has to carry an offense on his back.
