MWP
Well I am sure everyone is aware that the Lakers used the amnesty clause on Metta yesterday, so now he is officially a free agent. With the Heat looking to sign Greg Oden i'm not too sure they would take a look at Metta, but relistically it could work. I feel the Greg Oden signing is a toss up and if we aren't able to get him I think a strong push at Metta should be in the works. I know it's being reported that Metta wants to play for the Knicks, but I just wanted to know how you guys view this situation. Where do you think Metta ends up and would the Heat be a good choice?Tags: None -

Re: MWP
But if i look at it from an unbiased perspective, i think he could fit in his hometown New York backing up Melo, especially if Copeland leaves.Comment

Re: MWP
I thought he said that he has no plans to play in the NBA next season.
Would be sad to see him retire though.Comment

fwiw, his agent said he's not interested in playing for a small market team. he'd like to play for the clippers and if not that he'd like to go home and play for the knicks.Through Holy Union God Lives Inside For Everyone

Re: MWP
He'd bolster the bench of any team he goes to, but I don't see the purpose of him playing for the Knicks, he's not the player who would make that team a competitor for the League or even the conference title. Clippers or Heat, yes.***1971-72 ABA Roster 2K12 360***
