"NBA deputy commissioner and COO Adam Silver previously said it would take "about 18 months" for the Bobcats to change their name. That means Charlotte could once again become the Hornets by the 2014-15 season." -

I wonder how this will impact merchandising sales. Some people will get stuff just so they can be like "I got a ____ Bobcats jersey"(something that'd be rare like a Durant Sonics jersey), but don't see many people really buying Bobcats stuff for other reasons.Comment
