Point Guard - Magic Johnson

Shooting Guard - Michael Jordan

Small Forward - Larry Bird

Power Forward - Tim Duncan

Center - Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

Even though I believe Duncan is a tad bit better, I like K.G more. If it wasn't for the Lakers, K.G might have three rings instead of only one.

If it wasn't for the Lakers, Heat and Mavericks Tim Duncan would have 7 or 8 championships. Can't judge players on hypothetical situations that won't occur, but what has actually happened.

Anyway, my list:

PG - Magic Johnson
SG - Michael Jordan
SF - LeBron James
PF - Tim Duncan
C - Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

At the point, its between Oscar Robertson and Magic Johnson. Oscar was more complete in that his defense was infinitely better and he was a better mid range shooter. But he had more scoring responsibilities than Magic, so in a sense Magic was the purer point guard. I'm undecided.

Michael Jordan is the best wing man. He could do everything at the highest level.

At power forward, I favor Dave DeBusschere over Tim Duncan. Dave was stronger, a better shooter, handler, passer, and man to man defender.

Bill Russell is the finest center. Incredible quickness and defensive range. At least a 5 space rebounder. Precise passer. Competitive spirit off the charts.
