Cavs creep closer to the 8th seed. Kapono goes for 19, 5/5 from deep. We may have found our SF.

Never knew why they didn't play Kapono a lot more.

There's no doubting Kapono's offensive abilities but from what i've seen he's a bit of a turnstile on D which i guess limits his minutes. Eric Williams is a solid defender (and ok offensive player) which is probably why he gets the minutes he does. It would be fun to see the cavs in the playoffs though - Silas could get COTY. He's without a doubt my favourite coach in the league at the moment.

Weak defender, was timid shooter earlier in the season.

Gotta' give Silas a TON of credit for some of the things he's done. Z has always been a crappy defender. After 2 months of watching the 4th quarter of every game from the pine, viola...Now Z is moving his feet, blocking shots, defending the pick and roll well and playing real tough inside, like a 7'3" guy should. Silas made him accountable. Looks like the same thing might happen with Kapono. Hopefully, he can continue to play well, because the we struggle against the zone. Not many teams can play the Cavs straight-up for 48 minutes and if Jason can be our zone buster, we're in good shape.
