    Purchasing tickets

So on the 25th March, I will be in Miami and New York for a few weeks. With the release of the schedule, I'm hoping to catch a few games as I've never attended one before. The following games fit my itinerary:
    - Raptors @ Heat (31 March)
    - Nets @ Knicks (2 April)

I've tried looking for tickets @ NBA.com and noticed that the majority of seats for the Heat game are unavailable whereas the Knicks/Nets game have no seats available at all.

Are these games generally sold out this quick? or is there something I'm not doing right? Also, what do you guys think is the best option for a foreigner (me) to purchase tickets- am looking to get 6 tickets per game (for me and my friends).

Your best bet on buying the tickets cheap is to waiting a couple of hours before the game. People that are looking to get rid of tickets fast usually list some solid seats for a cheap price.

Ticket brokers and season ticket holders are the reason why you cant find a seat right now. You will be able to find plenty of tickets for the Raptors game if you wait until the day before or the day of to get tickets. You will probably be able to get good seats below ticket price if you go through Stubhub as a broker or ST holder may be looking to get rid of those tickets.

Now the Knicks game......thats tough. The Nets/Knicks rivalry is hot. The game is at MSG. Its in NY where the ticket market is always hot. Your best bet is to accept that you will have to pay more than the ticket price and get it from Stuvhub.

Did you get them on stubhub? I've had good experiences with stubhub and extremely good seats for cheap on that site, the day of the game.

Hey guys in the same boat here. Looking to go to okc@ny on christmas day. what exactly is the go with stubhub then? Is it people selling tickets they have already bought? Is there a possibility of not receiving the tickets? have never been to a game or anything so have no idea how to purchase tickets etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

No because with most stubhub tickets, you can download and print the tickets instantly.
