I don't think Iverson wants to be here anymore

He didn't show up at the game tonight against the Timberwolves. Which was great and the Sixers pulled off the upset. Glenn Robinson was there and he's injured. But Iverson and his bruised shoulder can't be there. And not only that, didn't bother to call Chris Ford or ANYBODY that he wasn't showing up.

Add to the fact that the Iverson that we all grew to love as a player, would have his *** out there on the floor, giving his all with a lil' bruised shoulder. That's nothing to Iverson. And now all of a sudden, he's sitting out GAMES...not just one...wit this slight injury.

Can we just end the relationship? Please?

Who would take him though? Iverson requires alot of shots to setup his game. He is what is known as a volume-based player. Bad shooting percentage but he is clutch and has lots of heart, things you can't measure. I guess he could go to the Hawks? Bulls? I don't see him going to a contender.

I honestly don't know. I guess that's why I'm not a GM. It should get very interesting around here when the summer comes up and trade talk ensues.

He's proved he doesn't have to have all of the shots. Either he feels like the team is no longer enough to risk his body over, he didn't want to be there without being able to play, or he flat out doen't want to play under the current circumstances. Nonetheless, his passion doesn't seem to be like it has been previous seasons. He may very well want out.

I wouldn't want to be there either. He plays while he's injured all the time and people keep saying that he doesn't care about the team. He needs to start over someplace else.
