Yeah, just bought the USA Today NBA preview last Friday or Saturday. I'm sucker for those type of magazine even though they become out of date quickly. And most good basketball sites are gearing up with more frequent content now.

Yea, I used to go crazy with them. I'd buy Lindy's, Athlon, SI, ESPN, and Slam's NBA preview magazines. I haven't really bought any for a while. It used to be a tradition, but with the internet and all the updated rosters, and statistics at my finger tips I stopped. I may pick one up for old times sake. I'll definitely get Slam's, because I buy that Mag regardless.

I haven't seen any on newsstands around here yet.

OK, I went on a liquor store run because NBA TV was showing the Lakers clinching in the 2000 Finals (which I hate for many reasons). I found a Lindy's Pro Basketball. Seems ok so far, but they only have the Knicks 2nd in the Atlantic. Really Lindy?

Anybody old enough to remember the Peterson magazines? Those were the best! They did preview magazines for all four major sports. I used to get them every year starting in the mid-to-late 80's up until mid-90's.

I'd go with USA Today's, their college preview was phenomenal, I'm sure their NBA preview is great. You really can't go wrong with Lindy's either. Athlon is alright.

I saw a magazine (not sure which kind) on a stand last week and it had Al Jefferson rocking his Bobcats jersey. I'm sure there are some around.

I have read Lindy's cover to cover. Moving on to Athlon now. I'd give Lindy's a solid "B". It seems shorter than it used to be. Would've like more 2014 draft coverage since it is supposed to be legendary.

USA Today published a preview mag this year. It's pretty good. Not as much info as Lindys but I like the layout better. Worth a buy.

I did the same thing, It has a really nice layout with Rose on the cover. Love the cover.

It's got a pretty good preview, I would have liked more. And I really would have liked the full rosters. But, whatever.

USA Today's College preview was better.
