Team/Fanbase that deserves a championship?

Just something I thought of when I was thinking over why I wanted World Series matchup to be A's(or even Indians) vs Pirates, cause I wanted a team who hadn't won/been to a world series in quite some time.

So with NBA season starting, what is one team you want to win the championship? Not specifically in 2013-2014 season, but just in general. By want to win, I don't mean vote for your fave team or something, vote for another team where you feel like the fans of that team(and the team/city itself) deserves to have a championship.

If you want, you can vote for a team that won it recently(like Miami,Boston,LA and so on) or it can be a team that hadn't won it in years/decades (if ever).

For me, I'd say a city like Chicago(hasn't won since Jordan era), Philly(haven't won since Dr.J days) and Cleveland(we all know Cleveland sports history.....) would be ones I'd like to see win.

As far as I'm concerned a team only deserves a championship if they've done everything to deserve it. Such as you know build a prize winning team. Thats it.

Would be better if this was restricted to teams that haven't won anything at all.

If you're a team that's won at least 3 titles, then personally I don't think you deserve anymore. ****ing greedy MFers.

If it weren't for that darn Michael Jordan, we would have won a couple.

Now it'll be a couple years before we're even contenders again...

Glad to see a lot of people have been picking the Knicks, they really deserve it.

Besides them, I picked:

Brooklyn because the fan base is amazing and it'd be the perfect way to control NYC. And I don't think the owner wants to get married anytime soon.

Atlanta Hawks, because I dunno, felt like it.

Oklahoma City Thunder... Heartbreaking loss in the Finals in 2012. Durant is deserving of a ring.

Los Angeles Clippers. Need I say more? Chris Paul and Lob City are deserving of a championship. This would also be similar to what would happen if BKN won it. LAC would win over some of the LA fan base.

Homer pick, but here are a few reasons why Orlando deserves a championship:

-Only major league team in Orlando are the Magic. No football, baseball or hockey season. It makes for a LONG off-season. 41 regular season home games a year. That's it.

-Think of some "what if" NBA players. We've had some bad luck, not Chicago Cubs luck, but still, it's not pretty. Our inaugural season was '89. In 24 years, two of our best players (Penny and Grant Hill) have gotten hit hard with the injury bug, while being in a small market has hurt us with keeping top All Stars (Shaq, D12 and T-Mac) That's a top player in the league that we lose every 5 seasons.

Gotta remember that the '95 squad with Penny and Shaq are the only team to beat a Jordan/Pippen team in the playoffs. We've had some great teams, but something always seems to keep us from bringing home a championship.
