the c's were removed from the dwight trade sweepstakes when he was in orlando because it was too cold
But yet he still wanted to end up in New Jersey/Brooklyn despite the fact that it's *gasp* cold there too.

        Oh no doubt.

I just doubt him refusing to go to Boston had anything to do with it being cold like you stated.

But yet he still tried to find any way he could end up a Net. AKA a cold weather city.

He said as much then and he just said it again recently. Climate had very little, if anything to do with him wanting to leave Orlando.

Seeing the Green for Asik trade popping up again.

Another rumor was Lin, Asik, and a 1st for Rondo.. Would you Boston guys be apposed to that? Lin has played well this year and would give them backcourt scoring. His defense is lacking but you already have AB and adding a rim protector helps boost any defense. Though its a big drop from Rondo, its another pick to work with. I would have considered Rondo untouchable.

Yeah, I would be greatly opposed. Asik for Green or Bass+Others is one thing for Rondo. Automatic no.

Rumors must be popping on another team site because the rumors by the C's beat guys and bloggers have been extension talks after the year w/him Being Paid Star money.

Yeah I saw it randomly. I've been looking at Asik rumors because if he does get traded I want to be the first to grab him off the free agents in my fantasy league. Site probably wasn't even credible. Just saw it was recent,I wouldn't expect Rondo to go. Was just wondering how a Boston fan would view the move.

the lin rondo swap was discussed a couple weeks ago when houston was on their self imposed deadline.

i will stop supporting the celtics if we trade for jeremy lin....doing that is the complete OPPOSITE of rebuilding... you dont trade a star for a bench player with a massively overpaid contract with i believe 2-3? years left on it when you are "rebuilding"

just send bass and a couple 1sts to houston for asik and move on with life (if houston turns down an offer of multiple 1sts for asik they deserve to have their locker room destroyed with chemistry issues)

someone said it earlier this year on TV, you dont trade a top 15 player without getting a top 15 player back

im also greatly against trading jeff unless an all-star is coming back (has to be SF or C) and of course, then need another if that player coming back is a C.

im a firm believer jeff CAN and WILL be the #1 option on this team for his contract duration, and has a legit chance of making the allstar game once he gets the mindset of being the #1 option...you dont go for 39-9 and have other 40+ point game(s) because you cant play

Who are some bench big men that could be available for trade? Specifically big men who are good post players?

Unforutnately, the Mavs would probably pull the trigger on a trade involving Brandan Wright if the price was right.

Kaman maybe? They would probably trade him for a piece of paper with "3 pointer" written on it. Pretty fair bargain.

Knicks just need to go ahead and find someone who will take JR and find a trade for Shump. Just start Hardaway at the 2 and hopefully in the trade they can find a decent SF or a hustle and defense PF.
