Suns trade Johnson and a pick for Bryant? Haha, they wish.

Sixers trade AI and they end up with Johnson? Hahaha, they dont wish.

Lakers trade Bryant and get only AI? They dont wish, either.

Being a poing guard and getting assists really have nothing in common. What I mean is that you don't have to have 8 assists a game to be a good point guard, and you don't have to be a point guard to get 8 assists a game. Iverson could easily get 10 assists per game if he had a big man like TD to pass to, but he wouldn't need to run the point to do it. Iverson started his career at the point, and it failed. He's not a point guard, and he's far less effective there than he is at the 2. He definitely has the dribbling and passing abilities to handle the position, but you're going to get much more out of him if he stays at the 2.

As for my suggestion that the 6ers would take Ginobli for AI - i think they would. Ginobli is an excellent, young player, who is going to get a lot of money this offseason. He's why the Spurs made all of those trades in the offseason - to free up room to resign him this summer. And anyway, the 76ers aren't going to get a comprable player to Iverson in return for him. It's just not going to happen... but if they could get Ginobli, I think they'd take it because they'd be getting a very good player, and saving some salary money...

AI would be a completely different player if he didn't have to cary the load every night.

I still think he can be a point guard. If he had someone to pass to, he could easily average 8 assists . I'm not a big AI fan, but I would love to see what he could do with another star on the same team.

His average is already 7 assists with the Sixers, if he went to the Spurs with Tim Duncan he would probably get 9-10 apg.

            Hence the word, easily.
